Code of conduct

Scroll Studio is built by people with different backgrounds, skills and opinions. Everyone who takes part (in issues, pull requests, discussions, reviews and any other project space) is expected to make that a good experience.

What we expect

  • Be respectful and assume good intent. Critique work, not people.
  • Be specific and helpful in reviews: say what should change and why.
  • Welcome newcomers and questions; nobody starts out knowing the codebase.
  • Credit other people's work, including research, images and code you build on.
  • Accept decisions gracefully once a discussion has been had, and say so if you disagree, with reasons.

What is not acceptable

  • Harassment, insults, slurs or personal attacks, in public or in private.
  • Discriminatory language or behaviour of any kind.
  • Sexualised content or unwelcome attention.
  • Publishing someone's private information without their permission.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions, or encouraging any of the above.

Enforcement

Report problems privately to the maintainer, Edeki Okoh (@Okohedeki), through the contact on their GitHub profile. Reports are handled confidentially. The maintainer may remove comments, commits or other contributions, and may warn, temporarily ban or permanently ban anyone whose behaviour breaks this code, in proportion to what happened.

This code is adapted from the spirit of the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
